End of Summer Sippers

The Wine & Rock and Wine & Eggs recently had a meeting of the minds to review the selects for our September Hi Dez Wine Club!

Each month we come together to taste, talk and curate a selection of wines that not only feature some of the hottest natural wine producers but that also serves as an opportunity to try new food pairings, dig into a new region of the winemaking world, or even to compliment the seasons and accompanying holidays.

To start, White Club members had the freedom this month to take wine club on the road with a pouch of Chardonnay that shined with notes of citrus, star fruit and cactus water. The Spanish Fermina White stepped in to punch it up with a nice zing of acidity and salty mineral finish.

Our Red Club saw some lovely late-summer reds that both shine with a chill to boot. The Fermina did not disappoint with a delicious earthy spice while the Good Boy Warm Breeze Granache was truly the perfect pairing for that last heat wave we had in the hi dez.

Surprise Me loyalists took home a fantastic selection of sippers to usher in the fall season. Two sparkling delights came in from Good Boy and Duckman and So Far Out didn't disappoint with their Chillable Red. And the crew definitely had heart eyes for Bichi's skin contact STUNNER. Woweeee was this fruity, fun and funky.
